A house without windows

Inspired by the Twits – Roald Dahl

I’ve always believed that that working in the open is important.

This week I spoke on a panel about collaboration. My main reflection was that collaboration and learning works both ways. Progress is often the result of how we open up ideas, conversations and make new connections.

It’s not just sharing what you know, it’s being able to see the world differently as a result of having different ways of seeing.

The windows we build into our work are about giving ourselves a way to see the world outside, as well as letting the world see us.

It’s important that we find ways of looking out, as well as letting others see in. Keeping ourselves creative and open to new conversations and opportunities.

This is my blog where I’ve been writing for 18 years. You can follow all of my posts by subscribing to this RSS feed. You can also find me on Bluesky, less frequently now on X (formally Twitter), and on LinkedIn.
