Rich Media Training with AbilityNet

Last Tuesday I attended a training day run by AbilityNet in London on the topic of Rich Media. The day covered a range of topics concerned with Rich Media and Accessibility and I’d thought I would share a few thoughts from what was covered here.

Last friday I attended d.construct 2006 at the Corn Exchange in Brighton. It was a really good conference and answered many of my questions about API‘s as well as addressing the usefulness of the various services to designers/developers working in real business situations.

Web Standards Group Podcasts

More good resource for web designers everywhere… Podcasts from the Web Standards Group event in London held last friday are now available.

Notes for Christian Heilmann‘s presentation – Maintainable JavaScript

Notes for Andy Budd‘s presentation – Who Cares About Standards?

@Media Podcasts

The @media podcasts are now available on the @media 2006 website or subscribe to the feed. It looks like they are adding a new session each week. I’m finally looking forward to catching all the sessions I couldn’t go to the first time around.
